Student Recruitment

Our laboratory is recruiting graduate and undergraduate students majoring in civil engineering, materials science, and electrochemistry!

Features of the laboratory

  • We are conducting a large number of research projects through joint research with research institutes in various industrial fields and private companies. Students in the laboratory are actively conducting research while discussing with faculty members.

  • Twice a month, there is a seminar (research progress report) in which all members participate. We encourage you to present your research at academic conferences. The ``Japan-Korea-China International Joint Seminar'' is held twice a year.

  • There are many international students, and there are many opportunities for communication in English (research presentations, daily conversations). We hold laboratory trips (once a year) and get-togethers to deepen friendships within the laboratory.

  • We actively participate in sports events (softball) between laboratories.

  • Bridge manufacturer: Yokogawa Bridge Holdings, M.M.Bridge

  • Bridge management company: NEXCO West, Shuto Expressway

Students who wish to go on to graduate school

(doctoral, master's)

Students with majors other than civil engineering but with different specialties are also welcome. If you are interested in research on maintenance and corrosion protection of steel structures, let's do research together.
